Gas Industry
Natural gas often needs to be transported from a gas field to a petrochemical plant through a long pipeline. Several centrifugal fans must be installed along the pipeline to increase the pressure of the natural gas.
The power of the centrifugal fan ranges from hundreds of watts to tens of thousands of kilowatts, the speed is 3000~10000r/min, and the pressure is generally 7355kPa or higher. Large-scale natural gas liquefaction plants generally choose axial fans from four aspects: flow, stand-alone power, efficiency, and cost.
Axial fans have the characteristics of large flow and high efficiency.
For the same production line, one axial fan is required, while multiple centrifugal fans are required.
